On May 24, 2024, at Daudkhali Union in Mathbaria, Pirojpur, Wellbeing Foundation, in collaboration with Apex Club of Mathbaria and JCI Dhaka Diplomats, officially launched a year-long initiative titled Self-Reliant (Project Swanirvor).
This project is dedicated to empowering a vulnerable family of five by providing them with startup capital to begin a small clothing business—helping them transition from street begging to a sustainable source of income. The family includes individuals facing significant challenges, including congenital blindness, hearing impairment, and physical disability.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the project encourages reinvestment of profits to ensure long-term growth and independence. Through continuous monitoring, guidance, and support, the partner organizations are committed to helping the family become truly self-reliant—Swanirvor—in every sense.
Together, we take a step toward dignity, empowerment, and lasting change.
