Health & Hygiene Awareness Seminar and Sanitary Napkin Distribution for Female Garment Workers

A health and hygiene awareness seminar along with sanitary napkin distribution was held today at 1:00 PM at a garment factory in the Darus Salam area of the capital, engaging approximately 300 female garment workers.
The program was organized by Wellbeing Foundation in collaboration with JCI Dhaka Diplomats and powered by Fresh Anonna Sanitary Napkin.
During the seminar, participants were provided with essential guidance on personal health and hygiene practices. Free sanitary napkins were also distributed among the workers, aiming to enhance their health protection and awareness.
Dr. Tahrima Tania, Honorable Advisor of Wellbeing Foundation, attended the event as the Chief Guest. The session was chaired by Md. Rajikul Hasan, Founder & President of Wellbeing Foundation and EVP of JCI Dhaka Diplomats.

In his remarks, the Chair stated, “We are planning to conduct a total of 50 campaigns this year across garments, schools, colleges, and universities, which will play a significant role in improving health awareness. Today’s program was organized as a pilot initiative.”

Among others, speakers included Md. Rakib Hasan Avi, General Secretary of the organization, and Golam Mabud, Director of Operations.
