Wellbeing Foundation, in collaboration with It’s Humanity Foundation, organised a Health and Hygiene Campaign at Chakar School, an educational institution for underprivileged children, in Dhaka’s Mirpur-1 area on Monday.
As part of the campaign, a total of 30 students received basic health screening and health and hygiene awareness services, read a press release.
In addition, educational materials, including notebooks, pens, super kits, and deworming tablets were distributed among the students to support their education and overall well-being.
The event was attended by Md Rajikul Hasan, founder of Wellbeing Foundation, Rakib Hasan Avi, co-founder, and Golam Mabud. It’s Humanity Foundation’s Sayed Bin Alam, along with other members of the organisation, was also present.
During the event, the guests interacted with the students and highlighted the importance of personal hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Wellbeing Foundation has been consistently working towards achieving the United Nations SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being through regular health services, awareness programmes, and humanitarian initiatives.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future for the benefit of underprivileged communities.
